Product description

The SWS flexible elastic steel shaft brings the industrial robustness of steel to the design of machined-body elastic shafts. The SWS offers torque transmission capacity significantly higher than the aluminium version (SWA), while retaining the angular precision and zero torsional backlash characteristic of this family.

The compensation of misalignment (parallel, angular, axial) is carried out by controlled flexion of the steel body, without resorting to an elastomer element sensitive to ageing.

The SWS is suited to high-torque industrial transmissions where precision remains critical: cutting machines, production lines with angular sensors, transmissions on high-power servomotors. Its service life is maximum under normal operating conditions.
