Product description

The SKK split-hub elastic coupling eliminates the need for a keyway thanks to split hubs with screw clamping. The hub closes on the shaft by radial friction and locks the transmission by simply tightening the screws.

This fixing system is particularly useful on non-keyable hardened shafts, smooth industrial profiles or applications where machining a keyway would be costly or technically complex.

The SKK handles frequent starts and direction reversals without progressive loosening. It combines the assembly speed of the split hub with the torsional flexibility of an interchangeable elastomer spider.
